Where the opportunities are
The operations we are handling at present are concentrated in Mojácar and Vera, two municipalities with distinct but complementary profiles. Mojácar combines a whitewashed hilltop village with a well-established coastal strip of hotels and holiday accommodation. Vera, centred largely on Vera Playa, attracts a more residential and family-oriented tourist market, with solid occupancy rates through the mid and high season. Both towns have genuine, sustained tourist demand, and while the market for hotel assets is not a large one, transactions do occur with reasonable regularity.
What kind of properties are available
The range runs from smaller hospitality establishments — hostels, guesthouses, apartment complexes managed as a single unit — through to larger, fully equipped hotels. In every case these are properties that already hold, or have previously held, a tourist use classification, which makes the planning and licensing side of things considerably more straightforward than converting a building from another use. Each asset has its own characteristics in terms of floor area, capacity, condition and legal status, so we handle every enquiry individually.
