Estate Agents in El Ejido
1 properties available in EL EJIDO and surrounding areas. Three decades selling in the Levante Almeriense.
El Ejido is one of the most dynamic municipalities in Almería: economic engine of the Poniente, world capital of intensive greenhouse agriculture and with constantly growing urban infrastructure. Its property market is very different from that of the Levante Almeriense, with a predominance of high-rise flats, family houses and high long-term rental demand.
Buying a home in El Ejido means accessing a very active market, with a wide offer covering everything from affordable flats in the town centre to villas and family houses in suburban developments. Proximity to the coast (Almerimar, Balerma) adds a residential-holiday component that enriches the offer.
At ZAR 2010 we can advise you if you are looking to buy or sell in El Ejido, although our main focus is on the Levante Almeriense (Garrucha, Mojácar, Vera and surroundings). If your interest is El Ejido, contact us for an honest valuation and, if necessary, we can refer you to a trusted colleague with established presence in the area.

What to look for when buying in EL EJIDO
The El Ejido town centre offers the widest variety of modern flats and duplexes, in high-rise blocks with all services. Prices range between €80,000 and €160,000 for 3-bedroom flats, far more affordable than on the coast.
Suburban residential developments concentrate family houses and terraced chalets, with gardens and sometimes pools. A 4-bedroom family house with plot ranges between €200,000 and €350,000, depending on the development and age.
The coast of Almerimar and Balerma (within El Ejido municipality) offers beachfront apartments, developments with pools and an important marina. The ideal option for second homes and holiday rental investment, with prices from €100,000 for small apartments up to €300,000 on the front line.
Why invest in EL EJIDO
El Ejido has a very stable property market, sustained by an active and growing population (one of the few Almerian municipalities with positive net migration thanks to agricultural activity). This translates into very strong rental demand and constant market turnover.
The gross yield of long-term rentals in El Ejido sits between 6% and 8% per year, one of the highest in Almería, thanks to the combination of affordable prices and solid demand. In Almerimar, holiday rental yield is also very competitive, with peaks of 7-9% in high season.
Three factors sustain the market: the economic activity of the agricultural and processing sector, maintaining employment and residential demand; the tourist appeal of Almerimar and its marina; and a complete services infrastructure (hospital, university, transport) typical of a regional capital.
