Learn more about Vera

Vera is a beautiful and sunny town in Levante Almería flanked, to the East by its more than 7 kilometers of fine sand beaches and clean, crystalline waters, to the North by Mojácar and the impressive mountains of Sierra Cabrera, to the South by the neighboring Cuevas del Almanzora and to the West by the A7 highway, providing a magnificent road connection which will soon be expanded by the future high speed train station “AVE” which is currently under construction.

Like Mojácar, Vera is fundamentally divided between the beach and the interior. Given the extension of its territory and coast, Vera Playa is distributed among numerous neighborhoods of which it is worth highlighting:

  • Las Marinas. It is a quiet and cozy residential area full of independent chalets, developments of low white houses and semi-detached houses which are located on the outskirts of the neighboring town of Garrucha with which it is magnificently connected through a short and beautiful promenade full of restaurants, bars and shops.
  • Las Buganvillas. Crossroads to Vera Pueblo, the beaches of Vera and Villaricos, or Garrucha and Mojácar. Residential area whose name is given by one of the multiple urbanizations that make it up, with a wide variety of shops, restaurants and services that are arranged in its surroundings, a short distance from Garrucha with which it is connected through the Paseo Marítimo, a pedestrian sidewalk next to the main road and a cycle path.
  • Puerto Rey.
  • Vera Playa.
  • Caporchanes.
  • La Media Legua.
  • Las Salinas
  • Playa Marqués

Vera Pueblo and surroundings:

  • Vera Pueblo
  • La Cabuzana
  • Golf Valle del Este
